Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster are pleased to offer the first ever virtual Water festival in the time of COVID-19.

The Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster Water Festival is usually celebrated the second week of May and is a precious time of the year for the water festival committee, teachers, students, and volunteers. Unfortunately, the in-person festival at Front Range Community College has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, teachers and students are now invited to attend the Water Festival whenever it is convenient to them through a virtual platform! Teachers and 4th/5th grade students may still participate in many of the same learning stations as before, through various formats including google slideshow, pre-recorded videos, and lesson plans.

We are looking for some feedback from teachers on what platform and lessons you would enjoy the most. We want to provide place-based water content that is MOST USEFUL TO YOU AND YOUR CLASS. Let us know your interest and capacity to incorporate these resources.

Please register here for our virtual water festival. We have also added some survey questions to help us better understand what presentations to include.
