Registration is now open for schools to attend the 2017 Northglenn Thornton Westminster Youth Water Festival! The Festival will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Register by November 18, 2016. Each year we have more schools register than we can accommodate. We will select schools based on registration date, wait list for schools previously turned down and history of participation.  Schools must be located in the Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster water service area. Selected schools will be notified in December.

Online Presenter Registration Now Open

Each May, over 1,000 students plunge into a fun, educational day at the Northglenn-Thornton-Westminster Water Festival.  We could not offer the Water Festival without presenters like you.

Most presentations will be 20 minutes long and are repeated four or five times between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  We also have a couple assembly type presentations that are 20-50 minutes in length and are presented to a larger group of students at one time. Interactive, hands-on activities work best for this age group.  Examples of topics include water/wastewater treatment, water conservation, weather, utilities, water quality, Colorado water law, and the environment.
